Chet

Chet Murch, Rinks General Manager – Chet has spent his life in and around hockey rinks.  He has extensive administrative management experience, strong leadership experience, and deep facilities management experience.  Chet manages the facility, provides oversight and management of the programs, and he also coaches his son’s Seacoast Spartans team.  We are so proud to have him lead our team.  cmurch@therinksatexeter.com.

Kurt

Kurt Mallett,  Seacoast Spartan U14 Head Coach, EHD Lead Instructor – As a seasoned skating and skills coach, Kurt Mallett’s mastery of teaching has transformed young athletes into outstanding hockey players. Mallett played four years of collegiate hockey, where he earned the honor of All American his senior year. Kurt also tallied 217 points in his 4 Collegiate Seasons of Hockey as well as 2 NCAA final four appearances, and held a 2 year Captain position for the Vikings. Kurt also played 6 yrs of professional hockey between the ECHL & IHL, before retiring to be a professional coach.  One of Kurt’s greatest attributes was his ability to be a leader and a great teacher.  Kurt has been the heart and soul of the Rinks At Exeter from the day he joined us 15 years ago; he has developed and run the most successful skills program in New Hampshire, helping players from Mites to the Professional ranks. He has established a reputation for significantly improving player skills through an innovative, fast pace skills progression program, which he personally developed.  Kurt resides in York Maine with his wife, Susie, his daughter, Mackenzie, and his son, Trevor.  Besides being a great hockey skills instructor and awesome coach, he is simply one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  kurtm@therinksatexeter.com

Chris

Chris Davidson, General Manager of Hockey Operations – Chris spent the last 20 years coaching at the Collegiate and Prep School levels. He was also a four-year letter winner at Saint Michael’s College capturing a National Championship in 1999. cdavidson@seacoastspartans.com

Mark

Mark Farrington, Director of Skating Skills United States Performance Academy Programs – Mark is one of the most respected skating coaches in New England.  He has been running skating programs and providing instructions to beginners and experts alike for 20 years.  He trains figure skaters, beginning skaters, and hockey players who want to improve their speed, edge work, agility, and balance. Mark was the Director of Skating and Programming for 10yrs before starting his new role as Director of Skating Skills for USPA. He was a Principal performer with Walt Disney’s World on Ice for 11yrs. He is a professional power skating coach – teaching Mite level thru Collegiate level Since 1999 . Mark played the Cowardly Lion in a CBS Television special skating production of the Wizard of Oz in 1996. Mark  competed in the UK National Competitor 1982-1986 and was the Welsh Junior and Senior Champion. markf@therinksatexeter.com.

Kathy

Kathy Farrington, Director of Skating Learn To Skate & Freestyle Programs – Kathy has 20+ years of coaching experience. She was a Disney on Ice performer for 10 yrs and was the understudy to Lead Role of Belle in Beauty and The Beast. Kathy is a New England Senior Ladies Medalist and Eastern Senior Ladies Competitor. She is a USFSA Gold Medalist in Figures and Freestyle and Canadian Gold Medalist in Figures. kathyf@therinksatexeter.com

 

Lori

Lori Perkins-Front Desk Manager -Lori Has been in customer service for 20+ years. She grew up in Exeter and plays Ice hockey and Inline Hockey. While living in Maryland she was a manager at The Capital Clubhouse Ice Rink. She ran the Adult Ice league and the Inline hockey programs. She coached all 3 of her children. She put a women’s inline hockey team together with her daughter and friends,The team qualified to play in the ECHO National tournament in Altlanta Georgia.
